About 5 miles east of the Hwy 373 (Greer Hwy), Arizona, The Ranch at South Fork is a 3-1/2 to 4-hour drive from Phoenix (directions from Phoenix) and Tucson (directions from Tucson), slightly longer from Albuquerque (directions from Albuquerque). The drive to the cabins from central and southern Arizona offers the spectacular scenery of the Mogollon Rim or the Salt River Canyon. Driving From New Mexico to our Arizona White Mountain cabins, you'll pass through the beauty of the Datil Mountains or the rugged volcanic landforms of El Malpais National Monument.

Driving Direction from Phoenix

From anywhere in the Valley of the Sun, the first step is to get you to the town of Show Low in the White Mountains.

From North Phoenix/Scottsdale Area to Show Low – Mogollon Rim Route.
Travel east on Shea Blvd. through Fountain Hills to the Beeline Hwy. (Hwy. 87), then turn left/ north and proceed to Payson. In Payson, turn right/east onto Hwy. 260 east to Show Low. When you reach Show Low, Hwy. 260 east comes to a three-way stop at a traffic signal where there is a Victorian-style house on the left corner. Turn left at this intersection onto Hwy. 60.

From East Valley Area – Salt River Canyon Route
Travel east on Superstition Freeway (Hwy. 60) through the Salt River Canyon to Show Low, continue straight on Hwy. 60.

To The Ranch at South Fork from Show Low
From the Hwy. 60/Hwy. 260 intersection at the Victorian-style house, proceed on Hwy. 60 for 1.9 miles to the fourth traffic signal, which is the intersection with Hwy. 260 again. Turn right (Bank One is on the right corner) and stay on Hwy. 260 through Pinetop-Lakeside and then continue for 35-40 minutes on Hwy. 260 east.

Turn South on CR4124 toward Southfork and travel 3 miles until you reach a fork in the road. Stay right of the fork and arrive at The Ranch at South Fork.

Driving Direction from Tucson

From anywhere in Tucson, the first step is to get you to the town of Show Low in the White Mountains.

From Tucson to Show Low
Travel north/northeast on North Oracle Road/AZ 77 North through Oracle and Winkelman toward Globe. Just before Globe, turn right/northeast onto Hwy. 60, which will continue through the Salt River Canyon to Show Low. When you reach Show Low on Hwy. 60, continue straight on Hwy. 60.

To The Ranch at South Fork from Show Low

From Albuquerque to Springerville, Arizona
Drive south on Interstate 25 to Socorro. Proceed west on US Hwy. 60 to Springerville, Arizona.

To The Ranch at South Fork from Springerville, Arizona
Continue west on Hwy. 60 through Springerville. Near mile marker #378, you will turn left/south on CR4124 toward Southfork and travel 3 miles until you reach a fork in the road. Stay right of the fork and arrive at The Ranch at South Fork.
